This scholarship is an award in memory of Bose Akiyode who passed away from Sickle Cell Anemia at the age of 21 in 1989. Prior to her passing, she was studying English Education and had already written unpublished novels. This award will be presented to an upcoming writer and a potential health writer. It is once a year and will be presented to a student (High school and above) who submits the best health or global health story. To submit your story – click here
