Olufunke (Funke) Akiyode Sickle Cell Fund
This fund provides treatment and medication for Sickle cell patients. Funke Akiyode is the Executive Director of Shout Global Health. She is a Sickle cell disease Warrior. This fund is created in her honor to provide medications for Sickle Cell Disease patients in developing countries (https://www.gofundme.com/f/funkesbirthday). There is no private or government insurance in most low-income countries, so patients pay out of pocket for services and medication.
